Full-Service Cycling Center

At Riverside Cycling we are all about facilitating two-wheeled adventure & exploration and making a positive contribution to Richmond's cycling community. To that end, we offer 1) cycling instruction for new riders and mountain bikers; 2) road, mountain, gravel and hybrid bike rentals; 3) full-service bicycle repair; and, 4) sales of new and refurbished bikes and accessories. We are proud to sell Jamis and Diamondback Bicycles, as well as our wide range of overhauled bikes and custom builds. Riverside Cycling is the result of a collaboration between Riverside Outfitters and Richmond-native Max Pendergraph. Max brings several years of cycling industry experience working as a shop mechanic in Nashville, Tennessee, and doing maintenance for a global leader in the cycle touring market. He got his start in the bike world as a volunteer at a build-a-bike workshop where he learned first-hand how the promotion of a friendly and inclusive bike culture can have an outsized impact on the surrounding community.
